Warehouse worker
Job Summary
St. Vincent de Paul Roseville is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse worker. This Part-time position will work under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. Applications accepted until August 15.
Essential Job Functions
This is a primary agency support position responsible for:
* General warehouse duties
* Unload / load trucks
* Sort / store food donations into walk-in refrigerators / freezers / shelves
* Maintain warehouse in clean, organized condition
* Load groceries into visitor vehicles
* Prepare donations for delivery
* Follow food handling guidelines
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, multiple assignments, prioritizing workload
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a High School diploma and some experience in a warehouse or grocery setting. Must have the ability to continuously lift over 40 lbs, and stand for long periods of time. Flexibility in responding to demands in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work and relate to a variety of personalities / cultures with diplomacy, friendliness, and respect. Perform a variety of agency duties requiring knowledge of warehouse machinery such as forklift. Additional skills include effective verbal communication, stress management and customer service orientation.
Desire to make a difference in the community. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Team player is a must!
Hours – Saturday and Monday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
$17.50 hour, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holiday, IRA

provide basic human services and programs to prevent hunger and

the ongoing support of our community and volunteers, to continue our charitable
mission. St. Vincent de Paul Society, Roseville Area Conference provides direct
services to those in need in Placer County, working closely with cities, county,
and other nonprofit agencies.
